Ah, adulthood. Grandma used to say (paraphrasing Bette Davis) that "getting old ain't for sissies." Boy, was she right. American Ingenue is an online publication for young women facing the many trials of growing up: paying bills, running a house, entering motherhood — and wondering how to pull it all off while staying true to our awesome, ambitious selves. This site features articles designed to help you get the most out of adult life, living more deliciously, healthfully, and efficiently. We can figure this out together!
American Ingenue began as a personal blog dedicated to living life to the fullest after the untimely death of Jenna's mother in 2008. This little spot on the Internet became a place to share the adventures, excitement, and frustrations of young adulthood. With a major relaunch in 2017, American Ingenue evolved into a space for sharing experiences and strategies to help others navigate their own uncharted territory into adult relationships and responsibilities.
